"I am Going" by Jamie Curtis
I am going, I am gone.
But I won't travel far from home.
The road's too long to go that way.
Let's stop and rest for the day.

I am going, I am gone.
I don't quite know what went wrong.
The valley's too low. The mountain too high.
Too much time is passing by.

I am going, I am gone.
Many days the sun has shone.
I need to turn around today,
and just head back the other way.

I am going, I am gone.
I am heading right back home.
I got mixed up and turned around,
but home is where the love is found.
She will be laid to rest in Arcadia Valley Memorial Cemetery in Ironton, MO on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity that brings joy to the lives of children.
