The family lived in Chicago, Moraga CA, St. Louis MO, and Memphis TN before coming to Louisville.
She attended Eastern HS and then went to Western Kentucky University; before graduating with a Finance degree from the University of Louisville. She has been married for the past 40 years to Robert Blake. They have lived in Louisville where they raised their son Samuel Gene Blake. Linda was a member of Middletown Christian Church and St. Patrick Catholic Church Linda was a friendly and outgoing person who never met a stranger. She was committed to her friends and family. Linda and Robbie hosted many celebrations in their home. Her macaroni & cheese and chocolate chip cookies were always in high demand.
Linda was preceded in death by her father and her niece Julia Priest Serrat.
She is survived by her mother, husband, son, daughter-in-law Emily, grandson Theodore, brother David (Debbie) Modjeski, sisters Peggy Modjeski ( Charles Stoll), Lauri (Ed) Priest, and many nieces and a nephew.
Per her wishes there will be no visitation. She will be cremated. A wake/memorial will be held on a date to be determined.
