She was born on March 10, 1927 in El Centro, CA to Sakutaro Myose and Tono Ikoma Myose.
Mary grew up in California and during WWII she was interred in the Manzanar Relocation Camp.
She married Thomas Martin Simon on December 1, 1951, in Evansville, IN. Thomas preceded her in death on December 14, 1991.
Mary was a hard-working lady and worked for Rockwell International in the building of the Apollo Space Project as a keypunch operator. After 30 years with Rockwell she retired and moved to Boulder City in 1992 to be closer to family.
She enjoyed playing video poker, spending time out golfing with friends, and reading the newspaper as she enjoyed her shredded wheat with bananas.
Mary is survived by her two children, Wayne "The Golden Child" Simon (Marcia), Jan Hubbard (Kenneth Mattingly): five grandchildren: Will Hubbard, Sarah Mendoza, Kimberly Johnson, Danny Simon, and Brie Wischnack; and 11 great grandchildren.
Family is doing cremation with private services.
