Steve Eustratios Alexander, Jr.
November 9, 1959 - September 9, 2021

Steve Eustratios Alexander Jr. (61) passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 9th with his family by his side. Steve was born in Atlanta on November 9, 1959 to Steve Alexander Sr. and Lula Pryles Alexander. He was the youngest of three siblings. He grew up in Atlanta, and graduated from Lakeside High School in 1977. He then went on to Georgia Tech and graduated with a B.S. in Business Management. From there, he completed his Risk Management Masters degree at Georgia State University. He later married his high school sweetheart, Debra Galloway in 1993, and had three sons, Steve III, Nicholas, and Michael. He was the world's greatest father, husband, brother, and son.

Throughout his life, Steve was always close to the church, and held his faith above everything else. He served several terms as President of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Clairmont Rd, chaired the Atlanta Greek Festival, and was a member of the Parish Council for more than ten years. His servant leadership, oversight, and participation, were an example to many in the community.

Professionally, he worked the majority of his career in the insurance and risk management field. One of his first and favorite jobs was working as an insurance agent for the Lloyd's of London in the UK. He then worked together with his dad throughout his early career, and was the President of the Steve Alexander Insurance Agency. From there, he worked for other prominent insurance agencies in Atlanta. Later in his career, he established the Alexander & Sons, LLC, where he helped small businesses with management and risk consulting.

As a father, he coached his sons and their friends in every sport they played. He coached baseball, basketball, and football, and made a lifelong impact on many. He set a good example and was a role model for all. Aside from coaching, he taught us many valuable life lessons about faith, love, forgiveness, humility, strength, compassion, success, defeat, perseverance, humor, travel, music, sports, and many more.

Our Dad was a precious gift to us all and will be deeply missed forever. He stood up in the storms, his heart was clear, and he always sought to master himself before others. He is survived by his wife, Debra, his three sons, Steve III, Nicholas, and Michael, his mother, Lula Pryles Alexander, his two sisters, Terri Smith and Marianne Beverly, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and god children.

The family thanks you for all the love, prayers, and support you have shown.
