Jerry Turner, 72, of Wichita Falls went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Interment will be 1:30 p.m. at Dixie Cemetery in Whitesboro under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
Jerry was born on January 13, 1949 in Cullman, Alabama to Houston and Mildred Turner. He served in the United States Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He worked 40 years in the car business. Jerry loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to cook, play pool, hunt, fish, and ride motorcycles. Jerry had a huge and fun personality and never met a stranger. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by Denece Garrett; his sister, Carlie Hartley of Rogers, Arkansas; his daughter, Tammy Cox of Devol, Oklahoma; his son, Tim Turner and wife Trish of Roanoke; his son, Jonathan Turner and wife Richelle of Iowa Park; his grandchildren, Daniel January, Haley January, Brennan January, Brody Cox, Robert Turner, Maddi Turner, Bryce Turner, Blaze Turner, Zoe Mello, Kyla Green, Annika Regouby, and Gaven Regouby; great-grandchildren, Asher January, Easton Franco, and Layna Franco; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
