DEATH OF A GOOD MAN - Mr. Joseph Basket, an old and highly respected citizen of the county, died at his home, near Henderson, about 5 o’clock p.m., on Saturday, April 21st, in the 79th year of his age. Mr. Basket led an active and industrious life as a farmer, but had been in feeble health for some time before his death. His wife survives him at the ripe age of 80 years. They had been married 56 years and during all that time, more than half a century, lived together peaceably and happily. In the death of Mr. Joe Basket a good man and a respected citizen has gone to his rest.
