Jerry Lewis Allen,88, of Madison County, NC passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2021 of natural causes. He was born on March 18, 1933 to Thomas Ben Allen and Lucy Hawkins Allen and was raised in the Haywood County area of NC. He is predeceased by nine siblings. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years Geraldine (Gerri)Thomas Allen along with four children; Becky Allen Young (LeJoe) of Pigeon Forge, TN, Keith Allen (Shari) of Wake Forest, Kenny Allen (Pam) of Canton, NC Karen Allen Wheeler (Mike) of Morganton, NC along with eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Further survived by step children Victor Dale Greene (Becky) of Marietta, SC, Jennifer Elaine Greene of Marshall, NC, Thomas Duane Greene (Susan) of Easley, SC and Robert Arnold Greene (Connie), Winchester, TN and six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Jerry retired after forty-one years (Old timer) at Champion Paper in Canton, NC. He was a marine and served his county in the Korean War. He was a Christian and loved life. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
