Betty (nee Chandler) Holt, passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 84 at Bayley. She was born on January 10, 1937, to the late Justus Roland Chandler and Carolina "Carrie" (nee Rademacher) Chandler. She grew up in Sayler Park and attended St. Aloysious on the Ohio and then went to Seton High School. Betty married Ronald Holt. She worked for Gibson Greeting Card Company for over 23 years. She enjoyed traveling and being a foster parent. She and Ronald were blessed to have fostered 10 children and adopted Robert Holt. She is survived by her son: Robert Holt; dear brother: Bill Chandler; and loving nieces & nephews: Judy (Bud) Fleming, Bob (Cindy) Jennings, Carol Blakeney, Tricia (George) Weber, Debbie (Larry) Weis, Diane (Charlie) Wells, Cathy Chandler (John Rodgers), and Chris (Barry) Whitton.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Justus and Carolina "Carrie" Chandler; husband: Ronald Holt, sister: Thelma Jennings; and nephew Chris Jennings.
Visitation will be at Brater Winter Funeral Home, 138 Monitor Ave, Sayler Park, on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 10 am until the time of the blessing service at 11 am. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
