Norman P. Johnson- a devoted follower and teacher of Christ to many and a friend to all, was called home to his loving savior and Lord Jesus Christ, on August 20, 2021 after enjoying a full and jovial life here on earth for 77 years.

An island boy, he was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, to parents Ronald and Whilma Johnson, but later migrated to Ontario, Canada. However, because of his love of the warm air and adventures, he was drawn back south, spending the remaining 44 years of his life in sunny Clearwater, Florida.
The world lost a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend, but Heaven gained a devoted angel, reuniting him with his beautiful wife, Laura.

Norm's natural charisma, storytelling and way with words led him to a life of sales, but if you were to ask any of his friends or family what his biggest accomplishment was, without hesitation, he would have immediately boasted about his 4 daughters and 7 grandchildren. He lived a life devoted to Christ and exuded love towards everyone, even perfect strangers, making you feel as if you were a part of his own family.

He loved to travel and enjoy life to the fullest, whether it was racing on speedboats or in his yellow Porsche, flying up high in a hot air balloon or managing to be copilot in the cockpit of a 747 airplane, he loved it all. Because of his zest for life in general, he had an appreciation of all things. He loved gardening, boating, hiking, enjoying beautiful sunsets, long drives, spending quality time with his family, but above all reading, especially the Word of God.

He was one of a kind, with a belly laugh and smile that would light up any room. He will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know him.
