William Rocky Lawson, 58, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
He was born in Lee County, November 06, 1962. He was a student of Dryden Combine Schools in Dryden, VA and a lifelong resident of Lee County.
He worked as a contractor doing construction through out Lee County and the surrounding areas. Rocky was an avid hunter and loved to be in the woods.
Rocky is preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Blanton; parents, Richard and Shirley Lawson; brother, Claude Lawson; and a sister, Fannie Lawson.
Rocky is survived by his daughter, Patricia Lawson White (Brandon) of St. Charles, VA; his brothers, Donnie Lawson (Trevia) of Dryden, VA, Robert Lawson (Tonya) of Pennington Gap, VA, Tommy Lawson (Melissa) of Dryden, VA, and Ben Lawson (Cassandra) of Pound, VA; three grandsons, Nathan Blanton, Josh Blanton and Gavin White; one special aunt Fannie Blanken and many nieces and nephews who all loved him.
Upon his wishes, services will be private.
