This is a cenotaph, a memorial found at the entrance hall to castle apartments in the form of a Gothic revival stained glass window depicting Katherine Wydville [also known as Catherine Woodville] and her second husband, Jasper Tudor, Duke of Bedford. Her place of burial is unknown and her remains lost as a result of the destruction arising from the Dissolution of the Monasteries (1536-1541) during the reign of Henry VIII.
Katherine was the daughter of Richard Wydville/Woodville, 1st Earl Rivers, and Jacquetta of Luxembourg. Her sister, Elizabeth, married King Edward IV of England, and the King elevated and promoted many members of the Woodville family. Elizabeth Woodville's household records for 1466/67 indicate that Katherine was being raised in the queen's household.

Sometime before the coronation of Elizabeth in May 1465, Katherine married Henry Stafford, 2nd Duke of Buckingham, while both were still children. A description of Elizabeth Woodville's coronation relates that Katherine and her husband were carried on squires' shoulders. The couple had four children:

Edward Stafford, 3rd Duke of Buckingham (3 February 1478 – 17 May 1521)
Elizabeth Stafford, Countess of Sussex (ca. 1479 – 11 May 1532)
Henry Stafford, 3rd Earl of Wiltshire (c. 1479 – 6 April 1523)
Anne Stafford, Countess of Huntingdon (c. 1483–1544)

Henry Stafford first allied himself with Richard, Duke of Gloucester, in 1483, helping him succeed to the throne as Richard III, but later switched his allegiance to Henry Tudor and led an unsuccessful rebellion in his name. Stafford was executed for treason on November 2, 1483.

After Richard III was defeated by Henry Tudor at Bosworth in 1485, Catherine married the new king's uncle, Jasper Tudor, Duke of Bedford, on November 7, 1485.

Following Jasper's death in 1495, Katherine married Sir Richard Wingfield, who outlived her.
