Virginia Arnett Martin passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 91. She was a homemaker and worked in the cafeteria at Fairley High School and Whitehaven High School. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Forrest Lee Martin; parents, David Edward & Addie Virginia Arnett; seven brothers, Claude, Merrill, Willie, Omar, A.T., James and Herman Arnett; one sister, Flora Calvi. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Burke of Enid, Mississippi, Kathy Irwin (Paul) of Collierville, Tennessee; son, Mike Martin (Vickie) of Collierville, Tennessee; and six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
A grave side service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 10:00 am at Forest Hill South, 2545 E Holmes Rd, Memphis, TN 38118
