Kenneth Ramey, 89, of Creston died Saturday, August 11, 2018 at his home.
Kenneth was born in Tazewell, Virginia on Aug. 11, 1929 to the late Arey and Sophia (Street) Ramey. On Sept. 17, 1971 he married Pauline Ramsey and she survives. He retired from the Ford Motor company with 40 years of service and had made his home in Creston for the past 22 years having previously resided in Cleveland. Kenneth enjoyed hunting and fishing and his greatest passion was country music.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline sons, Randy Ramey of Cleveland and Tim Ramey of Creston; granddaughter Lisa (Mark) Williams of Cleveland; special great-grandson, Niko; a brother, Joe (Jeannette) Ramey of Tazewell, VA, a sister, Zelma Duty of Tazewell, VA and a sister-in-law, Edith Mae Ramey of North Ridgeville. He was preceded in death by brothers, Homer Harte, Raymond Duty and Junior Ramey and a sister, Zola Duty.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with burial following at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
