Helen Louise Parker, of Rolla, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the age of 100.
She was born on April 15, 1921 in the state of Kansas to the late Andrew Lillibridge and Eva Mae (Cook) Lillibridge. In 1941, she married Thomas John Parker. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1987.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Helen enjoyed playing the violin, going to church and listening to her audio books. She was the president of the South Central Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind for 10 years.
She will be sadly missed by her surviving family which includes: seven children, John Parker and wife, Cecelia of Plano, TX, Andrew Parker and wife, Katie of Metaline Falls, WA, Rebecca White and husband, Don of Rolla, MO, Janet Rapisardo and husband, Michael of St. Louis, MO, Samuel Parker and wife, Rubiela of Columbia, MO, Stephen Parker and partner, Mae of SC, and Eric Parker of Grand Rapids, MI; eleven grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, a special friend, Debbie Castle; and many other friends and extended family.
A funeral mass for Helen L. Parker will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Rolla City Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, September 12 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
