Rodney "Roadgear" Lee Crow, 68, of Luzerne died Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at his home following a short illness.

Services: 10 a.m., Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids by Rev. Greg Bahl. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Teahen Funeral Home. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Monica Crow; son, James (Dondee) Crow; grandchildren, Breanna (Devon) Barnes, Kyle, Luke and Mason Allie, Alec Steggall, James Lee Jr. and Cole Rodney Crow; great grandchildren, Colton, Colin and Olivia; siblings, Cheryl Hanna, Jan (Stan) Oltman, Denny Crow, Daryl (Jan) Crow, Paula (Dale) Horak; his in-laws, Marlys Floyd, Jeff Floyd, Becky (Doug) Pippert, Gary Floyd; many nieces and nephews who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melissa Crow; father in-law, James Floyd; brother in law, Gary Walker and niece, Chelsea Floyd.

Rod was born on June 24, 1953 in Luzerne, the son of Ernest and Adeline Dvorak Crow. He was a 1971 graduate of Benton Community Schools.

On April 7, 1978, Rod married Cindy Ann Floyd in Blairstown.

He owned and operated RCCD in Luzerne for 20 years.

Rod also worked as a farmer and was a handyman.

Rod loved all his family and spending time with his grandchildren and his extended family.

He enjoyed riding his Harley and drag racing it at the salt flats.

Rod was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Chicago Cubs Fan and watched many games with his son Jim.

He was always available to help with community activities. Whatever he did, he did it perfect and was the most honorable and hardworking man you would ever meet.
