Gary was preceded in death by his father, James "Buddy" Hunt; and a sister, Betty Faye Hunt-Revels.
He is survived by his sons: Robert Wayne Locklear of Rowland, John Bradley Hunt of Rowland, and Brian Locklear of Pembroke; two daughters, Brandy Locklear of Pembroke and Natalie Nicole Locklear of Rowland; six grandchildren: Dillon, Ariel, Mya, Jeremy, Bricley, and Noah; his mother, Betty Kilroy (Jack); a brother, Donald Ray Hunt (Renee); a sister, Lorna Struck (Dug); his special friends: Regina Haggins, Danny Haggins, and Janell Lowery; and a special brother-in-law, Glen Revels.
The memorial services will be held in Revels Funeral Home Lumberton, 3575 N Roberts Ave, Lumberton, NC 28360.
