Edward Francis "Punkin" Moore, age 68, of Alma passed away on September 7, 2021 at St. Vincent's Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Bacon County on June 15, 1953 to Edward Cramer "E. C.." Moore. and Frances Cox Moore. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Moore and Henry David Moore.

Punkin was owner and operator of Bacon Farm Supply, a member of Alma First Baptist Church. He also taught at Altamaha Tech and served in the Army Reserves for 27 years.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Sherry Haselden Moore; two children, Jamie Moore and Rosalyn Moore; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Keylea Moore all of Alma; brother, Charles Corson of Annapolis, MD. and sister, Harriet Moore Taylor of Alma.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Pine Lawn Cemetery with Rev. David Miller and Rev. Dennis Bryant officiating.

Active pallbearers will be; Bobby Boatright, Shelton Moore, Trevor Moore, Shane Taylor, Scott McCarty and Cody Mikell.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
