She was united in marriage with William Henry in 1964 and the couple cherished forty-five years together prior to William's death in 2010. Dorothy enjoyed home life in her role as homemaker which involved taking care of her husband and children. She was an active member in the railroad union and the Eagles, and enjoyed camping and karaoke.
Dorothy is survived by two children, Craig Lewis Henry and wife, Stephanie, and Kristen A. Jones and husband, Josh, all of Genesee County; six grandchildren, Brett, Emili, Breana, Aiden, Connor and Jacob; and two great-grandchildren, Dakota and Zira. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald DeWitt.
In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
