A victim of a hit and run in San Marcos, Texas. He was going home to Austin from San Antonio when a white SUV ran him off the road. He was killed instantly of head trauma after hitting a untility pole. The driver has not been found nor the vehicle. His wife Gloria Rodriguez was also with him and suffred three broken ribs. She survived the accident.

Mr. Rodriguez was employed by Aggregate Haulers for over 26 years. Survived by his beloved Wife of 42 years; Gloria Rodriguez, their loving Children; Steve Adam Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Edward Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez, Jr., 4 Brothers; Martin Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Julian Rodriguez, Nasario Rodriguez, 2 Sisters; Maria Lilly Vallejo, Rosalinda Martinez, 7 Grandchildren and one Great-Grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; Sebastian and Antonia V. Rodriguez and a sister; Paula Dillard. Visitation began at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, November 22, 2007 in the Vinyard-Trevino Funeral Home Chapel in Jourdanton, Texas. A rosary was recited at 7:00 P.M Friday, November 23, 2007, in the Vinyard-Trevino Funeral Home, Jourdanton. Funeral mass was celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2007 in the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Charlotte, with the Father Sady Santana officiating. Interment followed in the Charlotte Community Cemetery.
