William Franklin Rook Sr., 56 of Bentonville, AR., departed this life Monday, May 7, 2007. His passing came after a year long battle with esopagal cancer. Mr. Rook passed away surrounded by family & loved one at the home of his daughter and son-in-law; Kathryn Rook & Gerald Tiller. He was born June 19, 1950 in Memphis, Tenn. to Chester G. (Toady) Rook and Jeanette A. Rook. He was an independent wholesale auto dealer.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Karon P. Rook, mother, Jeanette A. Rook and sister, Vicky L. Rook.
He is survived by his father, Chester G. (Toady) Rook of Bella Vista, Ark; a son, William F. Rook Jr. of Bentonville; a daughter; Kathryn J. Rook of Bentonville and a step-son; William Mayner of Glasgow, Ky. two grandsons; William F. Rook 111 (Billy) of Memphis, Tn. and Robert A. Rook (Bobby) of Bella Vista, Ark. Two brothers; Ronnie A. Rook of Bentonville, Ark and Toby A. Rook of Memphis, Tn. Two sisters; Cathy L. Sisk of Eads, Tn. and Susan D. Tranior of Bella Vista, Ark. As well as a host of nieces & nephews, He also leaves a very special aunt; Mrs. Wanda Storm of Springdale, Ark.
Visitation will be from 5pm ? 8 pm., Wednesday, May 09, 2007 at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers, AR.
