Patricia was born on September 24, 1957 to Willie B Bennett and the late and great Ida Lucille Polk Bennett in Concord, NC. After graduating from Central Cabarrus High in 1976 she went on to study business at Central Piedmont Community College.
After graduation, she landed her first job as a Marketing Specialist to Manager for CB Drug Corporation for many years. Next stop on the career plan was Atlas Marketing, where she met her forever best friend, Ms. Geraldine McCoy. These two have been the life of the party since then; we love you Aunt Gerry. Now, if that was not enough of a career, it gets better! She moved on to Ethan Allen, as the Customer Service manager for the service center. There is where she continued her career and touched so many lives and made so many friends. Patricia has never met a stranger and never misses the chance to be a light for someone.
When Patricia had me aka Dakisha, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful hardworking, God-fearing mother. She then had two more kids, Doral and Dalisa and she continue to be the BEST MOM EVER! Patricia excelled at being an inspiration with encouraging EVERYONE (let me repeat it for the people in the back…EVERYONE) and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. No task or problem was ever too big as she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.
Patricia was passionate about writing and when she wasn't filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her room writing, eating peanut brittle while watching Hallmark movies, planning for the next holiday or event, what to get the grandkids or in her prayer closet giving all the praise to God! We will miss her greatly and she is now praying for us all from home, in HEAVEN!
