Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport, LA on Saturday, September 11, 2021, for Roger Lane Reynolds Sr., 61, who passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
"Coach" Roger Lane Reynolds, Sr. was born on November 7, 1959, in Lake Charles, LA to Harvey Cecil Reynolds and Edwina (McGraw) Reynolds.
He graduated in 1983 from Northwestern State University with a degree in Physical Education. Coach Roger was a coach at Mamou High School from 1991 to 2015. He coached all sports at Mamou, but his passion was coaching the Green Demons Football team. He loved and adored his family, friends, and students.
He is survived by wife, Melissa Hardee Reynolds of Mamou; son, Lane Reynolds of Mamou; daughter, Logan Alexandra Reynolds of Mamou; dad, Harvey Cecil Reynolds of Shreveport; sister, Suzette Reynolds Vincent and husband, Glen; brother, Timothy Ray Reynolds and wife, Robbin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Edwina McGraw Reynolds; and sister, Teena (Reynolds) Barks.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Mamou from 3:30 PM until 9:00 PM.
