Richard Earle "Dick" Kirby, 78, passed away on September 2, 2021 at his home in Columbia, Tennessee.
He was born in Front Royal, Virginia on March 23, 1943. Dick graduated from Warren County High School, class of 1961, served in the US Air Force and fought in the Vietnam War. Dick had a lifelong love of playing and rebuilding guitars.
He is predeceased by parents Edmond Kirby and Susan Bierer Kirby.
Surviving are his wife Betsy Munson Kirby and daughters Kathy Kirby, Columbia, TN and Cheryl O'Leary (Dan), Auburn, Alabama. Also surviving are six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Also surviving are siblings Irwin Ross Kirby (Sandy) of Windsor, CO and Diane Kirby Ramsey, Winchester.
