Graveside services for Mrs. Carol Ann Knight will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Trinity Cemetery, Pineville, with Reverend Daryl Hoychick officiating, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mrs. Knight, 74, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in Woodshaven Nursing Home, Pollock, LA.
She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Pineville. She was retired from Pinecrest State School after twenty-five years of service. She loved taking care of her family, baking and playing bingo. She also enjoyed crafting and crocheting. She was President of the Residents Council at Woodshaven Nursing Home. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Don L. Knight; her parents, Edgar Cripps, Jr. and Frances Cripps; and one brother, Edgar Cripps, III.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two sons, Eddie Knight, and his wife, Brandy, of Baton Rouge and Jamie Knight, and his wife, Holly, of Madison, Mississippi; one daughter, Beverly McCollum, and her husband, Garry, of Natchitoches; one brother, Ples Wayne Cripps, and his wife, Susan, of Creola; two sisters, Denise Cripps, of Pineville and Jo Carol Cripps, of Alexandria; and nine grandchildren, Jason, Jared, Alyssa, Brittany, Joey, Lindsey, Shelby, Walker and Zach.
Pallbearers honored to serve are: Eddie Knight, Jamie Knight, Joey Bellino, Jared Carter, Walker Knight and Zach Guzzardo.
