Dora Caroline Delius "Dodie Mae" Ward, age 97 of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Ward; parents, Robert and Mary Delius; and brothers, Edthrig, Cusick, Bob, and Earl Delius.
Her survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby Ed White (Sue), and Herbert White (Debbie); daughter and son-in-law, Aileen Clabo (John); 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nephews; and special niece, Jill Koontz, who she loved greatly.
The family would like to say a special thanks to the caregivers who have helped keep her home for the past few years. They are Lee Lance, Brenda Dykes, and Peggy Simpson.
Serving as Pallbearers are grandchildren: Brandon, Derek, Jeremy, and Colin White, Nathan Sellers, Jim and Randall Clabo, and special friend, Mark Koontz.
