Mildred Jean Thompson of Hopkinsville died Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at her home. She was born in Jellico, TN on January 2, 1930 to the late William Warren Hicks & Marie Hicks

Survivors: Sons: Mike Thompson (Lucinda), Hopkinsville, KY; William Thompson (Sandi), Hopkinsville, KY; Brothers: Raymond Anderson, Richmond, KY; Kenneth Hicks, IN; Sister: Aretta Lucas, Hustonville, KY; Three Grandchildren: Heather Thompson, Playa Vista, CA; Heath Thompson (Nora), Jackson, TN; John William Thompson, Hopkinsville, KY; One Great Grandson: Michael Andrew Thompson, Jackson, TN.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Foster Parents, Vardaman and Maria Moore; husband, John Price "Sonny" Thompson; Son, Larry Keith Thompson.

Ms. Thompson was the former Co-Owner of Thompson and Perkins Service Station, retired Secretary from Christian County School System, and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hopkinsville.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hopkinsville with Rev. Bobby Spurling officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 Saturday at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hopkinsville. King's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
