Linda was born on February 26, 1957 to William (Bill) and Helen Dixon in Roswell, New Mexico. Linda was a single mom to her pride and joy, Taylor Andrew and her whole world revolved around him. She loved her grand-doggies and spoiled them with love and treats. Linda loved anything that had to do with adventure and the outdoors; fishing, hunting, and camping. She also loved to go out two-stepping to country and western music. She had a smile that could light up a whole room and her laugh was contagious. She spent the past year as a paraprofessional at Rolling Hills Elementary and she absolutely loved her job and her students. She was a ray of sunshine in so many lives and she will be missed immensely.
Survivors include her son, Taylor Dixon and girlfriend, Morgan Hovermale of Colorado Springs, CO; parents, William and Helen Dixon of Amarillo; two sisters, Sharon Cummins and husband Danny, Cindy Smith and husband Dallas of Amarillo, two nieces, Jordan Gilley and husband Lance, Kelsey Cummins and fiancé Ronnie Benavidez all of Amarillo, TX; two nephews, Kyler Cummins and wife Sarah of Plano, TX and Jentry Smith and fiancé Alexis Rios of Amarillo; four great nieces, Brynn and Dawsyn Gilley and Kamilla and Blakely Smith.
