Our loving husband, son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend Curtis J. Johnson, 63, of Minersville, Utah returned home to the loving arms of his heavenly father on September 5, 2021.

Curtis was born November 8, 1957, in Murray, Utah to Chad Alfred Johnson and Verna Lee Peterson. He grew up with 2 siblings, Steve and Tracy. The family moved to Salina, where he graduated with the class of 1976 from North Sevier High School. He enjoyed sports and was very athletic throughout high school, where he played football and was quite the cowboy, riding bulls and saddle bronc.

He married his high school sweetheart, Lee Ann Brown, in 1977 and later sealed with his family for time and all eternity in the Manti Temple on August 6, 1993.

They were blessed with two sons and two daughters, Lindsey, Justin, Ashlie, and Jeremiah.

Curtis enjoyed every minute spent with his 10 grandchildren and has one more on the way.

He enjoyed camping, hunting and riding his RZR with his family. He was a talented wood worker and spent many hours in his wood shop.

He loved animals, especially his Brittany Spaniels. He and Lee Ann raised many litters of well-bred Brittany puppies and sold them to people all over the United States. He also raised pheasants and chucker's to train his dogs.

He had an eye for good horseflesh. He raised and showed many top performance horse colts. It was a hobby he enjoyed with his family. Curtis enjoyed life and made the most of it right to the end. He endured valiantly the things he was called upon. We look forward to the day when we will be together again.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings, Boy Scouts being his favorite.

He is survived by his sweetheart Lee Ann of Minersville, Lindsey Johnson of Salt Lake City, Justin (Becky) Johnson of Gridley, California, Ashlie (Brandon) Wiseman of Minersville, Jeremiah (Andrea) Johnson of Minersville, mother Verna Johnson of Salina, brother Steve (Shauna) Johnson of Riverton, sister Tracy (Chad) Hammond of Fayette, Mother-in-law Verlene Clark of Orem. His treasured grandchildren: Sunny, Holly, Colby and Hayden Wiseman, Taylor, Breanna, and Ellie Johnson, Bryler, Castlynn and Jerek Johnson. Curtis is preceded in death by his father Chad Alfred Johnson, his brother Chad Jr. Johnson, Father-in-law Dale Jay Brown, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
