He was born Jan. 6, 1947 in Coshocton to the late Otis and Bessie (Borsship) Bailey. He married Alice Gay (Sturgeon) Bailey on June 17, 1991, who preceded him in death on May 5, 2017.
He was a former employee of Clow (McWane Ductile), a member of #7014 Steelworkers Union, and Killbuck V.F.W. Post #7079, where he always enjoyed steak night. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and visits from the family dogs.
Harold is survived by five sisters, Virginia Thomas of Coshocton, Francis O'ham of Texas, Dorothy McEntire of California, Ina Lauvrey of Coshocton, and Betty Bailey of Oklahoma; a step-son, Jeff (Claudia) Tatro of Danville; and three daughters, Brenda, Shelly, and Billie Jo.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Ford, Barb Stackhouse, and Margaret Dow.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2021 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
