Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27 at Forbis & Dick, Pleasant Garden Chapel. Interment will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park with Rev. Kay Frye officiating.
Mrs. McClintock was born on March 7, 1930 in Guilford County. She worked as Office Manager for Dr. James Caudle and Dr. David Taylor and was a lifetime member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, John Smith Wood, Sr. and Theresa York Wood; seven brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Herbert McClintock; daughters, Jeanna Sheldon (Harry) of Charlotte; Vicki Woodard (Steve) of Greensboro; sister, Kathryn Meadows (Harold) of Hawaii; brother, Frank Wood (Lois) of Delaware; grandchildren, Jason Woodard, Jordan Sheldon and Laren Sheldon.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Hospice of Greensboro, Dr. David Taylor and Dr. David Keller.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Monday at Forbis & Dick, Pleasant Garden Chapel.
