Charlotte Mae Jackson (nee Suer), passed away peacefully on September 6, 2021 at the age of 98, surrounded by many members of her family. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Albert E. Jackson. Loving mother of Beth (David) Lucas, Sue (Craig) Whitham, Thomas (Healy) Jackson, Dave (Kathy) Jackson, Ken (Suzanne) Jackson, and Jan (Pat) Habel. Grandmother of 26, great grandmother of 37, and great-great grandmother of 6. Survived by her sister, Anita Hartman; sister-in-law, Grace Erb; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Elizabeth (nee Kaiser) Suer; sisters, Dolores Bergman, and Marian Schroer; brother, Robert Suer; and granddaughter, Tammy Courtney.
Charlotte and Albert met at the Eagles in St. Bernard where they would enjoy many dances together through the years. She cherished her busy life as a homemaker. Together, She and Al successfully ran Mairose Bros. Meat & Grocery for more than 40 years. Charlotte adored babies and became the maker of many blankets for her grandbabies.
Visitation will be 4-7 pm, Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 am, Friday, September 10, 2021 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 177 Siebenthaler Ave, in Reading with Fr. Matt Robben as celebrant. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Facial coverings are requested for all guests in attendance.
