Obituary: "DRUEPPEL - Mrs. Joseph (Clara) Drueppel, 74 of Schuyler, formerly of Lindsay, died Friday afternoon at Behlen Community Hospital in Columbus following a lenghthy illness. The Rev. Joseph Downey officiated at last rights 9:30 a.m. today at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Schuyler, and burial was in St. Bernard Cemetery. Svoboda funeral home of Schuyler was in charge of arrangements. She was born Dec. 24, 1899, in Keya Paha County, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Vilmur Collins, and was educated at St. Leonard School in Madison. On Oct. 11, 1922, she was married to Joseph W. Drueppel at St. Bernard Catholic Church and they farmed in the Lindsay area. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Harold of Schuyler and ...; one sister, Mrs. Albert Kaus of Federal Way, Wash.; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
