Obituary from eckersellfuneralhome.com:

Families can be together forever.

Rex Lloyd Adamson was the ninth of ten children born to William and Ella Adamson of Ririe, Idaho. He spent his youth attending school and working on the family dairy farm. He enjoyed the summers growing up with his closest brothers in age, but wasn't too happy milking cows during Idaho winters. He met the love of his life, Alice Storer, in high school. They married after Rex graduated from Ririe high school.

After serving in the Army, Rex began attending BYU in Provo, UT. Here he obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting; later, becoming a Certified Public Accountant. He figured, since his younger brother was smart enough to earn a college degree, he too should be able to receive a degree. He and Alice eventually ended up in southern California where they raised two children. Rex served as a Bishop for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Many years into their later years, Rex and Alice moved to Texas to be near their surviving son and family.

Rex was preceded in death by his wife, Alice, and his daughter, Teresa Faylor. After Alice passed away in 2013, Rex remained near his son and family until his recent passing. He will be missed, by loved ones and those that knew him best. Rex is survived by his son, Darrel and 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery at 11:00 AM. The family will meet with friends prior to services at Eckersell Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, Idaho from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Interment will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
