On June 17, 1963 in Senath, Missouri, Joel was united in marriage to Sharon Lynette Rawls, who preceded him in death on May 1, 2020.
Joel was a member of Voice of Nations Church in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Joel was known as Little Joel Williams where he sold cars for over 50 years. He often won the Top Salesman Award at Gary Smith Ford in Fort Walton Beach Florida. In retirement, Joel and Sharon opened Little Wedding Chapel performing Beach Weddings for 12 years.
He is survived by 4 daughters Paula Goodman of Poplar Bluff, Debbie Goodman and Teresa Chandler both of Kennett and Autumn Keele and husband Riley of Russellville, Arkansas; 4 sons Ron Williams and wife Ester, Don Williams and Jason Williams all of Navarre, Florida, and Stanley Williams of Malden, Missouri; 3 brothers Bill Williams and wife Jeannie Williams of St. Charles, Missouri, Gary Williams and wife Ruthann of Cuba, Missouri and Jerry Williams of Gideon, Missouri; 1 sister Mary Lou and husband Jingo Cole of Kennett; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Williams, his parent Stanley and Ruth Williams, 1 daughter Melinda Thomen, 1 son Joel Lee Williams Jr.,1 brother Charlie (Tootsie) Williams and 1 sister Brenda Tucker.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 9, 2021 Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri with Funeral Service following at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel.
