KATHREN ADKINS
(1959-2021)

Kathren Elaine "Flo" Adkins, age 62, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center, in Portsmouth, Ohio.

She was born Sunday, August 2, 1959 in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Edward Adkins and Wilma Jane Lawson McCane.

Kathren was of the Christian faith and worked for U.S. Shoe Company. She enjoyed watching movies, playing cards, listening to country music and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Kathren is preceded in death by five brothers, Donald Edward Adkins, Randall Wayne Adkins, Eric Thomas McCane, Ronald Ray Adkins and John Allen Adkins; and one sister, Rita Fraley.

Kathren is survived by two brothers, Roger Duane McCane (Melissa) of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Terry Johnson (Rhonda) of St. Paul, Kentucky; four sisters, Janet Fraley (Winfred) of Garrison, Kentucky, Joyce Bentley (Danny) of Black Oak, Kentucky, Vonda Clark of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Regina Cullum (Jerry) of West Portsmouth, Ohio, along with a host of other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, Kentucky with Brother Chris Lawhun officiating. Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Lewis county, Kentucky.

Friends may visit after 12:30 p.m. Sunday until the service hour at the Funeral Home.
