Tennie Glee Jones, 91, of Ridgewood Road, a retired bookkeeper, died of heart failure Sunday at her home. Services are 2:30 p.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Jones was a Pike County native and a member of First Baptist Church. She had lived in Jackson since 1924 and had attended Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She retired after 23 years as a bookkeeper with Baptist Children's Village.
She was the widow of J. Hartford Jones.
Survivors include: sons, George W. Jones of Meridian and John Hartford Jones Jr. of Terry; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
