Steven Dale Gann, Hermitage, was born September 29, 1953 in Marshfield, MO to Louis and Juanita (King) Gann. He departed this life on September 4, 2021 in Cook County, IL at the age of 67.

Steven was a truck driver at Roadway for 32 years. He drove a tour bus for White Knight Tours for 8 years, and worked at Hale Fireworks for four years. Steven had served in the United States Air Force, and was a member of Teamsters Local 41. He was of the Baptist faith.

Steven enjoyed deer hunting, gardening, and back road driving to see the beauty of the country. He loved music, and telling jokes. He was obsessed with his beloved grandchildren. His family will miss deer camp and barbeques, and the holidays, which he always made special. They enjoyed sitting on the front porch visiting and people watching with him. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Virgil Prewett; and his siblings, Jack Gann (Peggy Gann), Phillip Gann and Tracy Gann.

Steven is survived by his wife, Dawna Jayne Gann, Hermitage; his children, Traves Gann (Janice), Shane Gann, and Tonya Gann, all of Odessa, MO; siblings, Beverly Matthews (Carl), Rolla, John Gann (Maxine), Springfield; and three grandchildren, Mason Hall (Kailey), Nelson Hall, and Shanley Gann.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Conway United Methodist Church, Conway, MO, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in Gann Cemetery.
