Obituary for Glenn A. Williams
Glenn A. Williams, 58, of Hatfield, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, September 4, 2021. He was born in Northampton on January 18, 1963, to the late Deane A. Williams and to Jeanette (Samson) Williams.
He was a graduate of Smith Vocational High School Carpentry Department. While Glenn was still in school and after graduation, he worked with his father perfecting his skills at the business of D.A. WILLIAMS Building Construction. Glenn was a highly skilled carpenter and cabinet maker who loved working with all kinds of wood, building many unique pieces of furniture. In his teenage years, Glenn enjoyed working side-by-side with his father restoring a 1930 Model A that his grandfather bought brand new in 1930.
Glenn loved fishing and biking and will be missed by his beloved cat Kiki, besides his mother Jeanette of Leeds, he leaves his four sons, Linwood, Adrian, and Eric William all of Leeds, and Kory Williams of Westhampton, sister's, Pamela LeBeau and her husband Roland of Chesterfield, Deana Williams of Haydenville, and Robin Pease and her husband Todd of South Deerfield, nephews; Chris LeBeau, Raymond Soucy, Coty and Wyatt Pease, nieces; Amy Bilicki and Tara Teed. He was predeceased by his father Deane in 2012.
There are no calling hours, and the funeral will be private and at the convenience of the family. Glenn will be buried next to his father in the Ashfield Cemetery, Ashfield, MA. DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME of Northampton has been entrusted with his services.
