She was born April 15, 1924 in Hamlin, Maine, the daughter of Patrick Ayotte and Phoebe (Martin) Ayotte.
She grew up in Van Buren, ME.
She worked for Arthur Watson Insurance Agency for many years.
Yvette enjoyed knitting and crocheting hats for the preemie babies born at Hartford Hospital, making hats and scarves for the Wethersfield Social Services Christmas tree, making prayer shawls for the sick and especially beautiful gifts for her family and friends.
She was a religious educator for many years, a member of the Incarnation Women's Club, beloved church choir member and bell ringer, Prayer Shawls Group and the Women's Club Honor Guard.
Yvette is survived by her three daughters. Mary Ellen Zenzie and her husband Brian of Newington, Cindy Procaccini of Wethersfield, Kate Adams and her husband Gary of Checotah, OK.
She also leaves her brother and best friend Eugene P. Ayotte of East Hartford and her sister Patricia Dumont of Wethersfield, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her infant son, son-in-law Mark Procaccini, brothers, Claude, Gilman and Joel and sisters Carmen, Mariette and Juliette.
Visitation was held at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home in Wethersfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Incarnation in Wethersfield.
Burial was in Village Cemetery in Wethersfield.
