He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Bryan loved God, his family, and was extremely devoted to his wife of 29 years, Cathy Smith. He enjoyed hunting, leather work, cooking, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a very kind and compassionate man who never met a stranger.
Survivors include his children, Jamie Marshall and husband, Mark of Moss Bluff and Trisha Monceaux and fiancé Jeremy Harris, Dallas Coffelt, and Natalee Coffelt, all of Sulphur; his sister, Sharon Potier of Sulphur; grandchildren, Lucian, Samuel, and Dakota Marshall; and a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Danielle Marshall. He is preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Cathy Smith; and his granddaughter, Gracie Danielle Marshall.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 11, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Clay Fontenot will officiate. Burial will be in Verdine Cemetery in Carlyss.
