Lillian Iva Jones, 103, of Richland Center, died Monday, September 6, 2021, at Schmitt Woodland Hills. She was born on January 17, 1918, in Richland County, the daughter of Oscar and Elsie (Unbehaun) Jones. After high school, Lillian pursued a career in nursing. She touched the lives of many hundreds of people while she worked at the Richland Hospital for 21 years and Schmitt Woodland Hill for 15 years until her retirement in 1980. She took special delight in caring for babies during her years at the Hospital. Lillian was a member at Peace United Methodist Church in Richland Center since 1947.

Lillian is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family wishes to express our most sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at Schmitt Woodland Hills and Agrace hospice for the tender and loving care she received the last few years of her life.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Elsie, brothers Theron, Leslie, Virgil, Freeman and Gaylord, and sisters Katherine Jones, Beulah Herlitz, Madeline Frye and Luella Wood.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Richland Center Cemetery. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting with arrangements.
