Stephen L. Haynes, 73 of Afton died unexpectedly on Sat. Sept. 4, 2021 at his home.
He was predeceased by his parents,
Stanley & Mabel (Loomis) Haynes,
sister & brother-in-law, Mary Jane & Fred Gridley,
brother, George E. Haynes.
He is survived by a
sister & brother-in-law, Bertha & Rudy Orlando, Afton,
2 brothers & sisters-in-law,
Wilbur & Dorothy Haynes, Afton,
Roger & Charlotte Haynes, Afton,
sister-in-law, Shirley Haynes, Afton,
and also several nieces and nephews.
He was a retired employee of Bainbridge Highway Dept. and former Superintendent of Highways for Afton and a retired farmer. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam.
Funeral Services will be held at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home 69-71 Maple Street Harpursville on Fri. at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton.
