Christopher E. Harris of Crawfordsville passed away Friday morning at the age of 23.
Chris served in the Army and received an honorable discharge. He was training to be a police officer. He loved driving and spent time driving a semi but was currently working construction. He enjoyed playing video games and giving the people he loved a hard time.
Born Sept. 2, 1998 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Richard Harris and Barbara Caudill Harris. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School.
Surviving family includes: parents, Richard and Barbara Harris; two sisters, Jacinda Harris, Morgan Amich; four brothers, Brandon Harris, Jacob Hart, Harlan Harris, Eric Hart; daughter, Spencer White; son, Thomas Harris; mother of his children, Nevaeh Walbert; grandmother, Mary Williams.
A gathering to remember Christopher Harris will be held at Burkhart Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 18th starting at 5 PM, with a service of remembrance at 6 PM. His ashes will be placed at the Mace Cemetery at a later date.
