Betty J. Voght, 88, of Hartford City, IN, passed away at 4:45 AM on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Millers Merry Manor in Hartford City, IN. She was born on Thursday, January 5, 1933, in Jay County, IN. She married Walter R. Voght on Tuesday, April 29, 1952, in Hartford City, IN. Betty was a 1952 graduate of Eaton High School. She attended Union Chapel Ministries. She was a Jackson Twp. farm wife and had formerly worked at Pennville Custom Cabinets, Pennville, IN. Betty sewed children's clothing for the Appalachian families. She taught Sunday school at Millgrove U.M.C., was a Girl Scout leader, and a Cub Scout den mother. She sold eggs and asparagus. She enjoyed gardening and flowers.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A service to celebrate her life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 9, 2021 with Pastor Troy Kaufman officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunkirk I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Dunkirk.
