Professional Hockey Player. Born in Bratislava, Slovakia, on September 7, 1960, he was a forward and played 48 games for the Minnesota North Stars, (1988-89). He was best known in international circles as a top domestic player in Czechoslovakia, winning a silver medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics and represented Czechoslovakia at three Canada Cups. In 1988, he was named to the Czechoslovakian first all-star team. He was the president of the Slovak Hockey Assosiation, when was found dead at age 37 from a gunshot wound to the head in his office in Bratislava, Slovakia.
