Gronewald-Riordan.

George F. Gronewald and Miss Marie E. Riordan, both of this city, were united in marriage at the residence of the groom's father, Minert [sic] Gronewald, on West Chase street, at 2:30 p. m. Aug. 29, 1906, Father Lentz officiating. They will leave in a few days for Minneapolis where they will reside.

The young man has been working at Monmouth for some time but recently went to Minneapolis, where he expects to locate, and Saturday returned to this city to claim his bride, the wedding being arranged to take place in the Catholic church in the morning. Monday, however, the young man was taken sick, and his condition is such that it was impossible to have the church wedding. Neither of the young people desired a postponement, so they were married in the afternoon.

The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Margaret Riordan of West Murray street, and both she and the groom have many friends here who wish them all happiness.
