He was a member of Miami Shores Baptist Church, American Legion Post # 598, Miamisburg Moose Lodge, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Floyd is survived by his wife: Shelva J. (Montgomery) Ellis; sons and daughters-in-law: Floyd T. Jr. (Barbara ) Ellis of Kettering, Randy L. (Sue) Ellis of Jamestown, Mark A. (Sue) Ellis of Kettering; daughters and sons-in-law: Barbara J. (David) Collinsworth of TN, Evelyn L. (Rob) Carpenter of Jamestown; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, 4 brothers, and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
