St Cloud Times obituary (published 11/22/2020):

"St. Cloud, MN - Our dear mother, Marie M. Thomas, aged 93, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 14, 2020, in Redmond, Washington. Marie was born in Farming, grew up in Richmond, and settled in St. Cloud, MN. She was a lifelong member and faithful attendee of the Assembly of God Church. Marie enjoyed staying busy working in her home and garden or volunteering at church and school. She was happiest when around her family and helping others. When mom did take a break, you would find her studying her bible or praying for others. Her grandchildren like to say she has a direct line to heaven.

Marie is survived by her children Sherry (Gary) Grundman, Surprise, AZ; Steven (Marlene), Kirkland, WA; Mark, Pine Mt Club, CA; David (Michele), Mesa, AZ; and Randy, Calabasas, CA, as well as five grandchildren and four great-granddaughters. She is also survived by her sister, Agnes Fangmeier, Paynesville, MN, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald ("Gerry") Thomas and four siblings.

Services are tentatively scheduled for summer 2021 in St. Cloud. Friends wishing to honor Marie's commitment to helping those in need are invited to make a donation in her name to Place of Hope, St. Cloud."
