Bryan B. Gregory, 65, Santa Claus, died Friday, April 18, 2014, in a house fire in Santa Claus.
He and his twin brother, Bradley, were born in East Chicago, Ind., on April 23, 1948, to Joe and Hazel Gregory. He married Maureen Quinn on June 20, 1976.
Surviving are his wife, Maureen Gregory; two sons, Jason Gregory and wife Heidi of Romney and Scott Gregory of Marin County, Calif.; a daughter, Kelly Jones and husband Ben of Chalmers; two brothers, Bradley Gregory of Boston, Mass., and Dan Gregory and wife Barbara of Loogootee; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Gregory was a 1966 graduate of Loogootee High School and 1970 graduate of Indiana State University. He was the director of Adult Basic Education for Vincennes University. After retirement, he became a certified Master Gardener and woodworker. He was the adjutant and assistant treasurer of Sons of the American Legion Post 242 in Santa Claus and worked on all fundraising activities.
