Linda L. Brooks, 61, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Deaconess Hospice in Evansville, Indiana. She was born September 6, 1959, in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Franklin and Norma (Rose) Flory. Linda devoted her life to being a homemaker to her family. She was a collector of frogs. Whether it be figurines, crocheted frogs or anything depicting a frog, she enjoyed it. She was also a fan of the little figures from the movie "Minions". Linda loved her family, and the grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She will by missed by her family and friends. Linda leaves behind her daughters, Mandy and Andrew Olse, Holly and Craig Kolasa, DeAnna and Bruce Hopper, Kaite and Greg Marciniak; grandchildren, McKenzie Jonas, Sandy Olse, Alecion Olse, Emah Olse, Caleb Kolasa, Alexis Kolasa, Hunter Hopper, Mariska Hopper, Michael Marciniak, Kyle Marciniak; sisters, Nora and Eli Daniels, Ann Feldman, Sue Cunningham, Bobbie and Dave Hollendersky; many loved nieces and nephews; beloved stepfather to her children, Larry Brooks. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Robert Colston; brothers and sister-in-law, Roger and Tina Colston, Junior Colston; nephew, Roger Colston Jr. In Keeping with Linda's wishes, cremation will take place and no formal services will be held. Keepes Funeral Home is serving the family with the arrangements.
